A house flipper experiences some disturbing paranormal activity at a recently purchased residence, and then finds out it used to be the childhood home of one of the nations most famous serial killers.

In Depth:

House flipper David Truong purchased a house in Tacoma, Washington with the intent to fix it up and sell it for a profit, hiring a contractor named Casey Clopton to do most of the major work.

While working on the home Clopton began experiencing odd things happening: cellphones suddenly dying despite having a full battery upon arrival, equipment would mysteriously become unplugged and items would go missing. A heavy dresser that was set into the wall upstairs was violently ripped from its place and hit the floor on its face while Clopton was downstairs and no one else was in the house. Messages such as "help me" and "leave" were written on glass windows behind protective screens or in sheetrock dust in the middle of the room with no footprints around it.

Clopton asked neighbors if there were any break-ins in the area, and while he was thankful to know that there hadn't, he was informed that the home he was working on was the former childhood home of none other than Ted Bundy. The Bundy family had moved into the house when he was 9.

Not knowing what else to do Clopton informed Truong of the news, along with the home's real estate broker, James Pitts III. They were concerned, as the strange ghostly claims of the workers combined with the knowledge of the home being Bundy's former home could make selling the place a real challenge.

The then turned to some local pastors, who walked through the house and blessed it, and left instructions for the workers of things they could do to help remove whatever spirit was causing the issues. It worked and the activity ceased, the house later selling without a problem.
