Summery:

An odd light that appears along Roddy Rd between 10:00pm and 11:00pm at night, with local legends blaming various ghosts.

In Depth:

In the 1950s kids started daring each other to sit out on a quiet stretch of road late at night, trying to catch a glimpse of a ghost. Supposedly, a light would appear floating along the side of the road sometime between 10:00pm and 11:00pm.

Stories have been passed around saying that they know the reason for this strange apparition, one involving the ghosts of parents visiting their daughters grave by candlelight, the other a rail worker who was decapitated by a passing train and searches for his head using the light of a lantern. However, there are those that simply brush it off as ignis fatuus (swamp gas.)
