A white object appeared in the sky over Pendleton, Oregon, hovering in the sky on the southern edge of town and remained in place for over an hour in broad daylight. Witnesses were able to snap photos of the object, but it seemed to disappear into thin air. Local authorities claimed it was a weather balloon, but no such balloon was launched in the vicinity, nor would it have been able to drift into the area. The object remains unexplained.
